In 2002, we added A T-1400 coldset web press to its line-up - one of the fastest web presses operating in Western Canada with speeds of up to 40,000 IPH and the capacity to print up to 56 pages in a single pass. In December 2005 a new $2.5 million T-1400 heatset web press was added, along with the accompanying H-50 Folder unit, to accommodate four-colour flyers and catalogues on glossy paper.
Our new T-1400 press features an in-line configuration with two 4-high towers and one H-50 folder to allow split press production. In addition, the two existing 2-high towers from the original coldest press are being upgraded to two 4-highs as well, meaning that we now has the ability to produce a 64-page book in full colour on our web press.
